Fans of The Weeknd want new music. The artist did provide a somber EP in March entitled, Dear Melancholy, but had scrapped a whole full-length album before the release of this small collection of tracks. According to the artist himself, the music was quite lovely, and therefore shelved for reasons other than a lack of quality.

"Prior to Melancholy, I had a whole album written, done, which wasn’t melancholy at all because it was a different time in my life…It was very upbeat — it was beautiful."

He threw away a perfectly good album in favor of a breakup EP. As if to poke fun at this situation, The Weeknd has been sporting a hat that directs the blame towards his newfound love, Bella Hadid.

Street photographers caught the celebrity wearing the orange cap that reads, "Blame Bella," and the artist himself shared the look on social media.

The couple is said to be sharing his condo in Tribeca, on that costs the star a mere $60,000 per month to enjoy. This comes after the model's claims of finding independence after the breakup that allowed for Selena Gomez to date Abel.

The Weeknd's last full-length album stopped in  2016. Starboy is almost two-years-old and fans are hopeful a new studio album will be announced before its third birthday.
