When Juice WRLD burst onto the scene a year ago, he made a sudden impact. The Chicago artist's pair of records, "All Girls Are The Same" and "Lucid Dreams," became underground hits upon arrival. Once Juice started gaining worldwide recognition though, he began to seriously blow up. Juice WRLD brings vulnerability and emotion to his music, blending pop elements with a hip-hop sound, a cohesion that almost guarantees his mainstream success. After slightly struggling last year on his joint project with Future, things have come full circle and Juice has released his sophomore album Death Race For Love. In just one year's time, it looks like the artist is nearing superstar territory because he's expected to move up to 165K copies of the album in its first week.

With features from Young Thug and Brent Faiyaz, Juice WRLD depended mostly on his own talent this time around, much as he did on Goodbye & Good Riddance. However, his name has grown a tremendous amount since then and now, he's selling quadruple the amount of his debut project. Goodbye & Good Riddance sold approximately 39K copies in its first week, so this new album marks a major improvement for the young artist as he's projected to move anywhere between 140K to 165K album units, with up to 42K accounting for pure sales according to Hits Daily Double.

You don't need me to tell you that this is a huge win for Juice WRLD. Clearly, he's pushing forward in the game, the lingering question is will the impact last?
