From the moment Ariana and the SNL star made their love official to the day they got engaged, it's been nonstop photos and coverage on their whirlwind romance and if you think it's going to end, guess again. The Sweetener singer called into Nicki Minaj's Queen radio show to talk about Pete and discussed their first moments together. "We have a lot of fun. He’s like my best friend,” the 25-year-old said. "It just gets better every day.”
Nicki asked Ariana if she remembered their first smooch. "It was so sick, it was so dope. It was so cute, he asked my permission to kiss me," she replied, where Nicki pried more on whether it was a "sensual" kiss. "It wasn’t like too naughty of a kiss, but definitely there was so much… you know… in there, you know? It was really sweet, but it was also really sexy.”
"Dope" may very well be the couples favourite word for describing great things. Back when Pete was asked about his proposal to Ariana, he too called it "dope."
"We were in bed hanging, after watching a movie. I was like, ‘Will you marry me?’ It was really dope," he said.
