It’s probably been overstated at this point but it’s absolutely no secret that the Air Jordan 1 is one of the most iconic basketball sneakers of all-time and easily one of the most important shoes in the Jordan Brand library. There are a plethora of Jordan 1 colorways to choose from and the brand has made sure to add some models to the collection every single year. It’s clear that Jordan Brand understands just how important this shoe is to their consumers and they’ve done everything possible to support it.

Now, thanks to a new image courtesy of @zsneakerheadz, it appears as though a brand new black and white Jordan 1 will be making its way to the market. These kicks have a white leather base with black overlays. What’s interesting about these overlays though is that they don’t look like they’re leather at all. Instead, it seems like the black is made up of pony hair.

So far we only have one image of the shoe so there are no real concrete details just yet, but this could be an interesting sneaker considering the material being used. Be sure to stay tuned for any updates as we will be sure to provide them as soon as they come along.

Are you interested in this new pair or could you do without?
