The duo doubles down on their collaborative EP.

There's a new energy surrounding the hip-hop scene in the Boston area and the latest talent to embody that shift come in the form of emcees Luke Bar$ and Jiles. The same weekend that the Patriots claimed yet another Lombardi trophy, the duo unleashed their collaborative 2 Sides EP, a delicately balanced output that underscored a paradox, both in form and function, throughout its five-track run.

"Growing as a man, you face a ton of obstacles and adversity [...] 2 Sides comes from a place where a kid is fighting internal battles, but portrays himself differently to his peers," the pair said of the project.

Now, the tag team returns to provide a supplement to the effort with the menacing visuals for project standout "OK OK." Directed by Daymian Mejia, the screen is frantically illuminated with a flashlight as Luke and Jiles take on the roles of ominous figures seemingly appearing where they shouldn't. It's a compelling concept that places a refreshing element of creativity at the forefront and introduces listeners to a yet another set of artists etching their names among those contributing to the renaissance currently taking place in New England.
