Roseanne Barr has finally crossed the line.

Pretty sure everybody saw this one coming.

Roseanne Barr made headlines this morning after tweeting some vile, racist, and islamophobic remarks about a former aide to President Brack Obama, Valerie Jarrett, saying, "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj."

For anyone who was even casually aware of Barr's Twitter presence, this came as no surprise. Barr has been fully on the Trump train for a long time, and has never shied away from tweeting racist rhetoric and conspiracy theory. However, it seems that this was the last straw for ABC, the network that revived her classic sitcom, Roseanne

While Barr deleted the tweet, apologized for her mistake, and finally decided to log off, it wasn't enough. Shortly after her tweet-and-delete, head writer Wanda Sykes announced that she would be leaving the show for good. Soon after that, ABC released a statement saying that they were cancelling the show immediately.

"Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show," said the statement.

According to Deadline, Barr was also dropped from her talent agency, ICM Partners, as a result of the tweets. "We are all greatly distressed by the disgraceful and unacceptable tweet from Roseanne Barr this morning," the agency wrote. "What she wrote is antithetical to our core values, both as individuals and as an agency.  Consequently, we have notified her that we will not represent her.  Effective immediately, Roseanne Barr is no longer a client."

While it's clear that Barr should deal with the consequences for her statements, it's a shame all the people who worked on the show will also lose their jobs because of her behavior.
