Pusha T delivered a phenomenal album on Friday with the release of his third studio album, Daytona, but what really made headlines was reignited feud between Drake and Push. Less than a day after Push drops his album, Drake fired back to Push's "Infrared" with "Duppy Freestyle." Everyone expected Push to clapback within 24 hours but clearly, that didn't occur. However, in a recent interview, Push did reveal that he's willing to keep this feud going throughout the summer.
Pusha T recently caught up with Vulture to talk about his new album, Daytona. Push later touched on the Drake beef and how the Toronto emcee decided to question his street authenticity, which the interviewer described as ironic.
"He said whatever he felt on “Two Birds, One Stone.” He thought that he questioned my authenticity to the streets..." He said, "And it’s fine. It’s fine. But I feel like … If you’re gonna question me, now I have to question authenticity, and what I feel it is that you claim."
He continued to say that he's ready to deal with whatever ends up happening this summer in terms of their beef on wax.
"I’m ready for everything that comes with it. Everything. And we gonna deal in truths." He said, "Because, I feel like I was questioned. My truth was questioned, and I’m gonna deal in truths all summer long. If everybody wanna deal in that, then I have no problem with that, I think it’s great. Think the world needs truth."
