People are obsessing over Chris Pine’s new beard and Scottish accent in the trailer for his latest lead role in the movie Outlaw King. The trailer gives a sneak peak into what we can expect from the Toronto Film Festival this year with Outlaw King debuting as the Opening Night Film on September 6th.

Netflix’s Outlaw King was filmed in Scotland and directed by David Mackenzie. It's not the first time Mackenzie and Pine have partnered, in 2016 they collaborated on Hell or High Water. Pine will play the character of Robert the Bruce helping reclaim the stolen throne to Scotland. The film is being described to have an authentic David vs. Goliath feel with the enticing slogan, “revenge tears at the soul but it can also be a weapon.”

NetflixFilm released the trailer on Twitter, bringing in thousands of impressions, with the caption:

“Things I would fight for:

-A new film directed by David Mackenzie
-Cinematic views of Scotland
-Chris Pine with a very nice beard

Outlaw King, coming soon”

The film will launch globally through Netflix on September 9th and follow in select theaters soon after.
