Dave East celebrated his birthday over the weekend. For the occasion, he threw an event co-hosted by RnB singer Mya, an official birthday bash entitled "Gemini Season." The pair seemed quite comfortable with each other throughout the event. East had his arms around her for a substantial amount of time while Mya sang "Movin On." He was holding her tight too. The contact wasn't on some awkward middle-school side hug tip. The PDA gave real booed-up vibes.

As for Dave East, he's steady on the grind. Some of his new music can be found on the soundtrack for the Netflix documentary series Rapture. The album dropped this past May and is comprised of a total of six songs by the artists of the series. He is also using his acting chops on another Netflix production, a movie entitled "Beats." A release date for the film has yet to be announced. In the meantime, Dave East's collaboration with Gunna, "Us," is available for your entertainment.
