"Oxnard" is going to be an adventure.

Anderson .Paak keeps moving further up the coast. The first album under his current stage name was entitled Venice, and it gave listeners a peek into Los Angeles culture. .Paak then moved north with his second effort, Malibu. For his third act, the soulful crooner and funky rapper takes things further up the coast to Oxnard. Blessed with the guidance of Dr. Dre, .Paak's third album has high expectations.

While on a promo run for Oxnard, .Paak stopped by The Angie Martinez Show, and dropped some gems about his upcoming project. He revealed the full list of appearances, naming Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Pusha T, and Q-Tip as features on the album. At the 7:40 mark in the interview, .Paak speaks about working with Cole while he was on tour.

"Him and Dre was working, and I was opening up for him on his last tour," stated .Paak on the Cole feature. "He was like, 'Yo, Dre, played me something, this crazy one.'" The sneak peek from Dre prompted Cole to hop on the track, which was in need of a feature. "It was unfinished, so I needed something," .Paak continued. "He was in town when I was working on it, I was wrapping it up. And I was like, 'If you around, pull up.' And he pulled right up."

Although .Paak does mention that Chance The Rapper doesn't feature on the album, he reassured fans that he and Chano have songs in the vault. At around 24:00 he admits that the songs might appear on Chance's next project. Our fingers are crossed.
