"I want to take everything up a notch," says Asian Doll, and with the arrival of her cinematic "Rock Out" clip, the 1017 Princess is well on her way to doing just that.
"It was important for me to make a video for 'Rock Out' because I've never made a record with that type of West Coast vibe before," Asian Doll tells Complex. "I wanted to do something for my West Coast fans. The concept for the video was inspired by Hustle & Flow, but more funny. We wanted to make the fans laugh like they were watching a short comedy film. I'm showing everybody my acting side and creative side."
The new clip, directed by AlphaMale Visuals takes place against the vibrant nocturnal backdrop of a motel with all the fixings as illegal activities, a makeshift studio session, and even a Martin nod all clash for a comical video that plants a solid end to the year for Asian Doll as she looks toward a fruitful 2019 following the arrival of her So Icy Princess project this year.
