The age of bounty hunters has arrived.

Disney is set to launch their own streaming service next year to compete with Netflix, Hulu, and the plethora of other streaming services taking over the game. Since Disney pretty much has a monopoly on entertainment now with their acquisition of 21st Century Fox, you can expect several properties to be added to their streaming service. Star Wars fans have been eagerly awaiting any news about the upcoming live-action series based in a galaxy far far away. They have finally been blessed with a title, synopsis, and photo from the upcoming series.

Jon Favreau is set to executive produce the series, which will be entitled The Mandalorian. The obvious hint at the Jango Fett lineage was enough to get Star Wars fans salivating at the mouth. “After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe," wrote Favreau in a post on Instagram announcing the series. "The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the first Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic."

A picture from the set was also released, and it gives fans a first look at the new bounty hunter.
