Could Thugger be finishing "Slime Language?"

For those devoted to Young Thug, a whole year without a full-length solo project is a very long time. Unlike, say, Kendrick, Thugger is known for releasing a new mixtape at least a couple times a year (the back-to-back-to-back release of Im Up, Slime Season 3 and No, My Name Is Jeffery is a very fond memory). Multiple rumoured release dates have come and gone for Thug's supposed Slime Language. Will we ever get a Young Thug album?

The answer is maybe. Alex Tumay posted a photo on Instagram of him and Thugger in the studio with the caption "I’m rapping and he’s engineering now."

Who is Alex Tumay and what does this mean for a Young Thug album, you ask? Tumay is an audio engineer and he has credits on the following of Sex's projects: Barter 6, all three Slime Seasons, I'm Up, Jeffery, Beautiful Thugger Girls and Thug's biggest hit to date: his feature on Camila Cabello's "Havana."

So if Young Thug is in the studio doing hands-on work with his engineer, this means that we may be close to another full-length release from the heir to Lil Wayne and Andre 3000. How close exactly we can never know, especially from an artist who changes his name like the weather. But, in the meantime check out Thugger's new song "My Bitches Love Me" featuring Migos, along with the eight other songs that leaked at the same time last night.
