Earlier this year a woman reported that Black-ish actor Anthony Anderson sexually assaulted her when she was catering an event he threw. The assault allegedly took place during a business meeting to discuss future opportunities. The 47-year-old actor denied the allegations and a spokesperson for Anthony stated: “It’s unfortunate that anyone can file a police report whether it is true or false. The authorities have not contacted Anthony or any of his representatives about this matter.”
According to The Blast, Anthony's case has been presented for consideration of charges by the LAPD and the case is still under review. It's up to the District Attorney to decide if Anthony will be charged with a crime. The publication notes how back in 2004, Anthony was accused of raping a woman on the set of Hustle & Flow, and the case was later dismissed for unknown reasons.
Apparently, Anthony's case was also presented with other cases surrounding Harvey Weinstein and Steven Seagal. Anthony just has one case being reviewed while Harvey has five cases under review.
