Her love song gets dreamy visuals.

Over a year after the release of Tamar Braxton's Bluebird of Happiness, the songstress delivers retro esthetics to compliment one of its tracks, "The Makings of You." The song, which features a lengthy sample of Curtis Mayfield's classic of the same title, is given new breath through a visual production directed by Supa Coop and put forth by Kelektiv Media Group. The clip channels the era during which the original song was set, displaying cultural markers of the 70s.

Tamar shared a still shot from the new video to social media with an acknowledgment to those who helped the independent artist materialize her vision and to her fans who support her career.

"There is no label. No manager. Just what I believe in. You. My Tamartianfriends who believed in me from the very start. I’ve spent my own money, time, favors, and hometown friends to put together something so AMAZING for you all. This is where i am from!!! #DMV I’m proud of that!![...] This is just the beginning. I’ve felt love, lost love and am so grateful and lucky to have found it again. That there says that R& B isn’t dead!! Neither is your DREAM!! It remains as long as YOU believe in it💕"
