Cardi B has a whole new opportunity on her hands.

MTV's Catfish co-host Max Joseph recently announced that he's leaving the series after seven seasons. "For a while now I have been straddling two careers as TV host and filmmaker and, while this level of busy-ness is a dream come true, my life can no longer sustain it,” Max shared. “With Catfish still going strong after 7 seasons, 115 episodes, 31 specials and showing no sign of slowing down, I feel it is finally the time for me to make my exit."

Now that Max is out, host Nev Schulman is looking for a new partner in crime and he has his hopes on a leading lady. "Max cannot be replaced, so as corny as it sounds, it's true, but the show must go on," he told TMZ. "If somewhere down the line, we find the right person and it's a good fit and the fans like our chemistry, then perhaps a permanent co-host could be in order."

As for the first woman to come to mind?

"...I think for her humor and insight is Cardi B," he confessed "Obviously, I know that she's a new mom, so she's a little busy, but we can certainly work around her schedule. There's so many great people. There's probably so many people that I don't even or haven't even thought who might love the show and want to come on now that they know there's an open invitation."
