Uncle Murda invokes the divisive Yeezus.

Though the cover art for Uncle Murda's "I Ain't Kanye" may suggest a scathing reaction to Yeezy's ongoing antics, the track itself opts to go relatively easy on the divisive artist. Taking to Gunna and Lil Baby's infectious "Drip Too Hard" instrumental, Murda and Que Banz come through with a reimagining of sorts, foregoing the general menace of "Get The Strap" in favor of melodic autotune. It's a stark contrast to be sure, but a testament to the pair's versatility; it seems as if Murda is employing the "if you can't beat them, join them" mentality, at least for a brief moment.

Kanye's presence remains felt throughout the chorus, as Murda and Banz use his name to embody a "captain-save-a-hoe" archetype. Clearly, Kim and Kanye's union aren't entirely celebrated throughout the hip-hop community, and Murda has never been one to mince words. This one originally fell under our radar, so be sure to catch up on "I Ain't Kanye" now.

Quotable Lyrics

Free Max B n****s tryin to ride the wave
Oh I didn't eat it cause the pussy wasn't safe
All n***as want is trap music now
Like fuck boom bap, thought this shit was just a phase
