Busta Rhymes kicks off the new "Flipmode era."

Busta Rhymes previously united the great houses upon dropping off "Flipmode Squad Meets The Conglomerate," an epic near-seven minute posse cut like the glory days incarnate. Now, in the wake of making news of a new Flipmode album official, Busta, O.T. Genasis, Rah Digga, Spliff Star, Rampage, and more have come through with some clean visuals. Cut from a classic cloth, the video foregoes the sheen of material goods in favor of maintaining a cypher vibe; many have labeled this a second-coming of nineties hip-hop, and rightfully so.

Even if you weren't around when Busta and his crew were doing their thing, the legacy must be respected accordingly. It's exciting to see hip-hop's veterans one again returning to drop some knowledge, adding a modern twist to the sound they once popularized. Peep the simple yet dope clip now, and stay tuned for that upcoming Flipmode Squad album.
