Anderson .Paak has been unleashing nothing but fire since the summer, coming through on both “Bubblin'” and last week’s follow-up with Kendrick Lamar. The man is undeniably full of talent and the Californian regularly works with a number of equally skilled musicians. His group, The Free Nationals, tour with him all the time, contributing a signature sound to much of .Paak’s catalog. Anderson is taking more of a background role today as The Free Nationals have just released a single of their own, enlisting some star power in Daniel Caesar and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
Announced yesterday, “Beauty & Essex” debuts as the World Record of the day on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show. This is the sort of vibe that was all over Daniel Caesar’s most recent album so it comes as no surprise that he would express interest in hopping onto this one. “Beauty & Essex” is a groovy offering, smooth in nature and sure to please fans of the R&B genre.
The Free Nationals are almost guaranteed to make plenty of appearances on .Paak’s upcoming album Oxnard so if you’re unfamiliar with the group, get acquainted by checking out their brand new single. Let us know what you think of “Beauty & Essex.”
Sun shines through my window
Your head’s on my pillow, ah
Feeling on that booty
Caress you so smoothly, ah
P*ssy wet like an ocean
