Future & Chance the Rapper

As is only right for a song called "My Peak," Future, Chance, and King Louie's new song debuts at #1.

Although Future hasn't given us an official project yet this year, he's been far from absent from the game. He showed up all over DJ Esco's recently-released Kolorblind tape, and in addition to numerous guest appearances on others' songs, has dropped his fair share of singles/loosies. His latest is an intriguing one, a collab with two Chicago rappers, and it's clear how hungry his fans are for new music, as that song easily hits #1 this week.

All in competition for "hippest rapper out," Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, and Lil Uzi Vert all notch two appearances apiece in the top ten this week. New tracks barely missing out on spots include Zaytoven, T.I., Pusha T, Rick Ross, and Yo Gotti's "Go Get the Money" (#11), Wale's "Salary Kaep" (#12), Rae Sremmurd and Zoe Kravitz's "Anti-Social Smokers Club" (#13), and Ty Dolla $ign and Wiz Khalifa's "Drugs" (#14).

10. Ace Hood - Undefeated

Since breaking free from his We The Best contract, Ace Hood has been generous with the new tunes, the latest of which arrived via Trust The Process 2: Undefeated last Friday. A day before the album dropped, Ace shared the title track/lead single, which debuts at #10.

9. Styles P - Do Not Disturb (Ghost)

Styles P has been relatively quiet this year, especially considering his usual rate of freestyles. Luckily, he ended the drought this past week with "Do Not Disturb," a sub-two minute take on Drake's song of the same name. It debuts at #9.

8. Playboi Carti Feat. Lil Uzi Vert - Shoota

After a drawn-out rollout for his debut album, Playboi Carti opted for a much faster strike the second time around, delivering Die Lit out of nowhere last Friday. "Shoota" finds him linking up with longtime pal Lil Uzi over a beat from that dude's frequent collaborator Maaly Raw. It debuts at #8.

7. Childish Gambino - This Is America

The song that everyone seemed to be talking about last week, Donald Glover's "This Is America" stands in contrast with both his earliest work as Childish Gambino and his more R&B and funk-tinged last album under the moniker. The politically-charged track, which features ad-libs from Young Thug, 21 Savage, and others, debuts at #7.

6. Travis Scott Feat. Kanye West & Lil Uzi Vert - Watch

Lil Uzi's second appearance this week comes on a huge track from Travis Scott's upcoming album Astroworld, a lead single by the name of "Watch." Whereas Carti enlisted Uzi's main man Maaly Raw for a beat, here Uzi goes in over production from Carti's beat guy, Pi'erre Bourne. In its second week out, "Watch" is down two places from #4 to #6.

5. Drake & Lil Baby - Pikachu (No Keys)

It had been a while since Drake debuted new music on OVO Sound Radio, but as is usually the case when that happens, the new material quickly rose up our chart. Despite only arriving on Saturday, his new collab with Lil Baby, "Pikachu (No Keys)," debuts at #5.

4. Playboi Carti Feat. Travis Scott - Love Hurts

Completing the game of two degrees of separation they've played with Lil Uzi Vert this past week, Carti and Travis' second song comes in the form of a collaboration with each other. "Love Hurts" arrived before we even knew about Die Lit, and in its second week out, it's down three places from #1 to #4.

3. Ty Dolla $ign Feat. 21 Savage - Clout

This past Friday, Ty Dolla $ign continued his excellent track record of album re-releaes with a new version of Beach House 3 that added some excellent bonus tracks onto the original tracklist. One of them is the 21 Savage-assisted "Clout," which arrived before the album's re-release and debuts at #3.

2. Royce Da 5'9" Feat. Logic & King Green - Caterpillar (Remix)

Appearing in the #2 slot lat week was "Caterpillar," a track from Royce's new album Book Of Ryan that featured a surprise appearance from Eminem. Appearing in the exact same slot this week is a remix of the track featuring none other than Logic, who was rumored to be on the original. This version debuts at #2.

1. Future Feat. Chance The Rapper & King Louie - My Peak

Featuring a very intriguing trio of rappers, "My Peak" arrived last week with little other info of its origin or placement on future projects. Somewhat unsurprisingly, it's been taken down since. People have clearly been looking for it though, as it debuts at #1. Good luck hunting.
