Ninja celebrates his Twitch supremacy.

Ninja, the blue-haired demon credited with sparking the eSport/rap merger, became the first Twitch streamer to reach 10 million followers. The Fortnite "specialist," took a moment out of busy schedule to congratulate himself over the achievement in a post appearing on Twitter: "This milestone is seriously ridiculous and the one I am most proud of. I have been streaming for a very very long time... and I cannot express how grateful I am to be in the position I am in."

In 2018 we've reached a stage in humankind where positive enshrinement is uncontrollable, and clout is measure by follows. It's not as if we we just learned of our fate after watching a foreboding episode of Black Mirror. eSports is bustling, and gaming arenas are being erected front, left and center. Ninja just happens to be the most prominent player of Fortnite, the most played video game among the Battle Royale variants.

Because a subjective ranking system across different genres does not exist, we can safely crown Ninja the most famous eSports athlete not named Lupe Fiasco, but even his star is fading as the years go by. To paint you a picture, the next most popular Twitch streamer Shroud (formerly known as Meclipse) only has 3.9 million followers to draw upon.
