NYE gets some "Fortnite" crossover.

Tyler "Ninja" Blevins is the most famous video game streamer in the world. The moment he stepped on screen in that new Samsung commercial, his fate was sealed as the most commercially successful gamer in the industry. Ninja has made a name for himself playing Fortnite, but he can destroy most of the population in several video games. As reported by UPROXX, Ninja will be taking his talents to New York for New Year's Eve

As most American's know, the tradition on the east coast is to watch the ball drop on New Year's Eve. The glistening diamond ball drops in Times Square as millions gather in the cold for the yearly tradition. This year, Ninja will live stream Fortnite while sitting comfortably above all the madness in Times Square. Red Bull is setting up the event, and Twitch will be Ninja's streaming platform of choice. “NYE has always been fun for gamers because it’s a night where you have a widely accepted excuse to stay up and game, but there’s never been an event in the mainstream that’s actually built around that tradition,” Ninja stated. “This is just my ultimate NYE Fortnite LAN party with some of my best friends and a few surprises that I hope we as a community can have a lot of fun with.” Expect guest appearances via Twitch from several celebrities.
