Prince had major plans before his passing.

April 21st, 2016 was a very sad day because we lost the influential musician, Prince. His talents were lent to some of the hottest artists on the scene right now and his work has influenced even more. Janelle Monae recently shared that her upcoming album was being helmed by Prince himself and another one of Prince's friends shared one of his projects he was working before his death.

Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace recently spoke with GQ where she revealed that Prince wanted to be the face of Black Lives Matter.

“He decided to be the face of the Black Lives Matter movement — that’s what he wanted — and he said, ‘You need to be with me,'” Donatella told the publication. “I was ready to do it.”

Using her status for good, Donatella has kept up with her support for #MeToo, referencing how Italy is still stuck in the past. “For harassment, this country [Italy] is still — they don’t like to say it. It’s a little bit taboo,” she explained. “Think about what happens in court here. If a woman says, ‘This person raped me,’ the judge and everybody asks the woman, ‘How were you dressed? You wore a miniskirt?’ It’s like the 1940s.”
