Though they're very new to the scene, City Girls are already a part of a Hot 100 No. 1 hit, due to their additional vocals on Drake's "In My Feelings." It's one of a few unconventional aspects of the South Florida duo's rise, another factor being member JT's recent incarceration for credit card fraud, which will see her serve a two-year sentence as the group's excellent debut PERIOD continues to gain momentum. Before she began serving time in July, the two rappers filmed the video for "Period (We Live)," a triumphant track that features some powerful synth-brass to bolster the big personalities of JT and Yung Miami. In the clip, they cruise on jet skis, hit the beach, and are backed by a parade of horn and drum players.
