It was on Friday night that The Game fired the first shots in a new spat when he led a crowd to chant “Fuck 6ix9ine” during a stop on the European leg of his 45 tour, referring to Brooklyn's Tekashi 6ix9ine as a “fake-ass Blood.”
6ix9ine would soon head up to his Instagram to indirectly reference the Compton OG writing out, “I TURNED ‘GANGSTERS’ INTO CLOUT CHASERS. I INVITE ALL YALL TO MY DICK. A KID WITH RAINBOW HAIR GOT THE WHOLE INDUSTRY RIGHT NOW AGGRAVATED.

Soon enough he followed up the post with a longer statement, addressing “known gangsters” and acknowledging that he’s shaken up the industry with the controversy that follows him.
“I'm telling you now... they are going to write a documentary on me. How a kid with rainbow hair changed ganglife. It was a kid with rainbow hair to make "known gangsters" to get out of character,” he penned. “Pulling everybody's card. Never checking in. Never being able to get touched. A kid with rainbow hair got the industry frustrated.”

In a now-deleted post, he decided to send some more direct shots The Game’s way, uploading a clip in which The Game appeared on an episode of the dating game show "Change of Heart" a short time before his fame, and clowning him for an appearance for which The Game has caught a lot of flack in years past.

It wouldn’t be the first time the video has been used as ammo against The Game and it probably won’t be the last. But more importantly, this wouldn’t be the first time and certainly won’t be the last time we see Tekashi take part in a heated exchange with contemporaries in the industry.
While such accomplishments such as a platinum plaque for his “GUMMO” single and a debut album that has touched the Billboard Hot 200 would typically be cause to properly applaud a rookie, 6IX9INE’s wave of negative headlines, including a guilty plea to sex crimes involving a minor and constant questions on his gang affiliation have instead made him the subject of great criticism.
