The up-and-coming pop star continues her album rollout.

The new Elley Duhé song is a hopeful anthem in the vein of Kanye West's recent line: "for all my dogs that stayed down we up again" with a little bit of the feel of Kanye's own hopeful anthem, "Ghost Town." The title, "Way Down Low," may sound like it dwells on the lower end of the emotional register, but Duhé only brings us down to show us the way up. In her words: “I simply wrote ‘WAY DOWN LOW’ for us. All of us. Together. Never give up on yourself or on the good people in this world or the future. I don’t know much, but I do know better days are ahead for us all.”

The "good people of the future" will be happy to know that Elley Duhé's new album will be release on August 10th. It will be called Dragon Mentality, a title that brings to mind another recent Kanye West phrase. Duhé released another single from the album a few weeks ago called "Lost My Mind." Enjoy "Way Down Low" below:

Quotable Lyrics

When you're blue hang on, hang on I got you
I'm gon' take care of you
Don't let the feels put fear inside
cause I'm watchin' over you
