Charlamagne Tha God is about to drop a new book called "Shook One."

No doubt, everyone holds an opinion on Charlamagne Tha God. The Breakfast Club host has proven slightly divisive, albeit generally beloved by the hip-hop community. Case in point, his authorial debut Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes To Those Who Create It went on to become an instant New York Times bestseller. While the recently released paperback version of Black Privilege continues to pad Tha God's retirement fund, it would appear that the Uncle Charla isn't quite finished with the literary game quite yet. Today, he has officially announced his follow-up book, titled Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks On Me.

Featuring his own frazzled mug on the cover, Charlamagne's new book promises to focus on anxiety, self-doubt, and more. The official synopsis explains the concept as follows:

"SHOOK ONE details how anxiety has been a driving force in Charlamagne’s life since childhood. For many years, he stressed over what he thought were personal shortcomings: fear of being unpopular in school, potential rejection by women, of being ugly and worst of all, falling into the life of stagnation or crime that caught up so many of his friends and family in his hometown of Moncks Corner, South Carolina."
