Rapper ASAP Rocky performs onstage at the Samsung Milk Music Lounge featuring A$AP Rocky on March 19, 2015 in Austin, Texas.

Prior to the madness, Rocky gave fans a snippet of new music.

The one thing fans have been eagerly waiting for since last summer is A$AP Rocky's third studio album. The rapper has teased its release much more than he has given an update on it. He's shared short snippets of music on his Instagram but we've yet to receive a single or anything that can hold us over until the drop date. However, during yesterday's Yams Day event, Rocky hit the stage to premiere new music off his forthcoming project.

A$AP Rocky touched the stage last night at the third annual Yams Day. As expected, he brought a slew of guests along with him and performed some of his own classic hits. But what may have been the most notable moment in his set was that he debuted a few new cuts. There's yet to be titles and only short snippets of the performance surfaced but for anyone who's been waiting on the album, it's sounding pretty promising.

"First things first, I done heard the worst things/ Like if I'm, in your top 10, mines better be the first name/ Out your mouth or even worst sayin'/ Lil n*ggas is my offsprings/ They deserve a n*gga first name, middle name, third name/ From another planet birthplace/ Cloud 9, hello earthlings," he's heard rapping on one of the tracks.

Unfortunately, for those who haven't heard, the show got cut short last night due to a brawl that broke out and alleged gun shots being fired. Read more about that here.
