Fat Joe was the latest legendary hip-hop artist to get his own NPR Tiny Desk, and he made sure to bring some famous friends along.

Fat Joe's 2021 NPR Tiny Desk performance is something that still sticks out in our minds. The infectious energy with which he performed "Lean Back" and "All The Way Up" was further proof of his legend. Earlier this week, he teased a return to NPR's Tiny Desk series. This time around, he would be bringing some famous friends along for the ride.

This is one of the most New York-centric NPR Tiny Desks you'll ever watch. Throughout the nine-track setlist, we get features from Remy Ma, Jadakiss, Stove God Cooks, and Stevie Mackey. Remy Ma and Jadakiss were necessities given Joe's worth with the two legends.

During the performance, you could tell that everyone was having a great time. The energy was high, and Remy Ma, in particular, stole the show. That said, Jadakiss is always a joy to watch, and it was also fun seeing Stove God Cooks in this setting. Ultimately, if you are a Fat Joe fan, you have to be satisfied.

  • "Feelin a Way (with Stevie Mackey)"

"Lean Back" and "All The Way Up" were the two closers with Remy by his side. It was a fitting finale to the concert, as Fat Joe seemed to be beaming with pride. It was also fun to see "The Aroma" get some love, especially with Stove God Cooks on the verge of dropping a new album.
