As first reported by HITS Daily Double, the gorgeous and talented Ariana Grande is set to release a new single later this month. The date for the single's release is slated for April 27, coincidentally the same day that the new Avengers: Infinity War movie drops. We don't think Grande will have any issue fighting off Captain America and Black Panther though, as their worlds are somewhat separated by their industries.
This will be the first new music that Grande has released since the tragic Manchester bombing, which took place at her concert last Summer. Sources close to the project have stated that this will be an emotional album that will be based on the ups and downs the singer has been through in the last few years. There is little doubt that the Manchester bombing will play a central role, because the event shook Grande to her core. Twenty-three people were killed, and over 500 more were injured in the attack. Just weeks after the bombing, Grande put together a benefit concert called “One Love Manchester" that raised over $13 million for victims and their families.
Pharrell Williams, Max Martin, and Savan Kotecha will produce the album. The title of the project has yet to be released.
