Paul Pierce is reportedly going through it in terms of his finances as the former Celtics star is dealing with losing work.

Paul Pierce was a phenomenal NBA player who certainly deserved his spot in the Hall of Fame. Unfortunately, according to TMZ, he is currently suffering financial peril, and things could become untenable in short order.

Pierce is claiming that back in August, he received his final paycheck from Fox Sports. This was worth $119K, which was enough to sustain him and his lifestyle on a monthly basis. However, now that he has lost that gig, Pierce has found himself struggling to pay his bills.

All of this was made public as Princess Santiago, Paul Pierce's ex, is currently demanding $40K in legal fees. She is also looking for $10K to pay for a forensic accountant. Pierce and his legal counsel are arguing that he doesn't make enough money to do so.

According to the court documents, Pierce pays $28K per month in child support and another $20K in spousal support. Furthermore, it was revealed that Pierce is spending $8K per month on childcare, $5K on groceries, $7K on eating out, $3,200 on utilities, $1K on clothes, and another $3,500 on entertainment.

Moreover, the former NBA superstar has $3 million worth of properties and another $300K in the bank. With only $23K coming in per month via endorsement deals, Pierce argues he just doesn't have the money to cover all this.

It's an unfortunate situation for Pierce, who is certainly one of the best to ever do it. After making $200 million over the course of his NBA career, he now finds himself in a precarious position.
