Some of Tyler, the Creator's old tweets are being dug up online, and the rapper is offering his take on the relitigating of it all.

Tyler, The Creator said a lot of dumb things on his social media accounts 15 years ago. Things that certainly would have gotten him canceled had he said them today. However, he has changed a lot since his youth, and for the most part, fans have forgiven him.

However, there are certainly some people out there who are hell-bent on drudging up the past in an attempt to hold the rapper accountable. Unfortunately for those people, Tyler has resisted giving in. Instead, he mocks those who try to cancel him over a decade later.

A great example of this occurred on Tuesday morning, as Tyler's NSFW tweets about Selena Gomez resurfaced online. Tyler offered up a response to the controversy, claiming that he simply doesn't care anymore. He was sarcastic in his delivery, and clearly believes this is all very cynical.

Tyler, The Creator Claps Back

“Oh no im gonna get cancelled, this has never happened, why hasnt anyone in the last 15 years EVER brought this up, this is the first time oh no. i am a terrible person through and through smh," Tyler wrote.

It's a response that some aren't going to appreciate. After all, it's not exactly an example of him taking accountability. Instead, it is him dismissing the concerns of those who don't love how he acted in his past.

However, he is right in the sense that this won't get him canceled. There is nothing that could do such a thing at this point. He is simply too big of an artist. If anything were to get him canceled, it would have to be something more recent, and a lot more scandalous.
