Lil Twist was streaming with N3on on Thursday, and revealed that Lil Wayne used to punish his artists all the time.

Lil Twist was a Young Money artist who was never quite able to live up to his full potential. While he did have some big songs in the late 2000s/early 2010s, he wasn't quite the star that others on the Young Money imprint became.

Recently, Twist found himself on a livestream with N3on. It was here that Twist revealed why he didn't end up on "BedRock." Of course, this was a Young Money mega hit with Lloyd, Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Gudda Gudda, Tyga, and Jae Millz.

As Lil Twist explains, he spent so much money on studio time that Wayne left him off "BedRock" as a form of punishment. Twist also says that this is something Wayne would do to lots of his artists at the time.

“Wayne was like why Twist spend $70K in the studio," Twist said. "He was mad at me… I wasn’t paying attention to the invoices so I couldn’t be in the video, that was my punishment… Wayne used to play bad punishment games”

It is certainly a wild story, and if true, it just goes to show that Lil Wayne was heavily involved in everything that was going on with his record label.

Of course, "BedRock" was a huge hit, and you have to wonder if it would have changed the trajectory of Lil Twist's career. While it wasn't super beneficial to the likes of Gudda Gudda and Jae Millz, it was still a smash that fans have lots of nostalgia for.
