Police arrested a 20-year-old accused of threatening Rick Ross' son with a gun, prompting another round of jokes from 50 Cent.

Offering to bail out the man accused of pistol-whipping Rick Ross's son is apparently 50 Cent's latest way of antagonizing his longtime rival. The G-Unit mogul wasted little time making jokes after reports surfaced that William Roberts III had allegedly been assaulted and threatened at gunpoint in Florida. However, 50 took things further when he shared the suspect's booking photo and claimed he was arranging legal assistance.

In his initial response, 50 questioned why William contacted authorities instead of his father, reviving his familiar jokes about Ross's past as a correctional officer. He subsequently offered to help the alleged attacker, writing, "What's his name, get me his info I'm bounding him out!"

His next Instagram post featured the booking information and photograph of Don Roberts III, the 20-year-old accused of attacking Ross's son. "I got him he will be out tomorrow I'm sending @drewfindling," 50 wrote. "This is a big misunderstanding that can easily be resolved. This was a street fight, I mean STREET FIGHTER is in theaters! LOL."

The reference to Drew Findling wasn't entirely random. The prominent Hip Hop defense attorney has represented several high-profile rappers, and 50 is developing a scripted television project based on his legal career.

Rick Ross's Son Reportedly Threatened At Gunpoint

According to WKMG News 6, William told Daytona Beach police that he was standing outside with a woman near Bethune-Cookman University on October 11 when a man approached him with a handgun. "I don't care who your daddy is, I'll kill you right here," the suspect allegedly threatened before striking William in the head with the firearm.

William, a football player at Bethune-Cookman, told investigators he believed the confrontation involved the woman's previous relationship with the suspect. Police documented minor swelling on his head, although he declined medical attention. He subsequently identified the alleged attacker in a photographic lineup.

Don was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Investigators reportedly reviewed nearby surveillance cameras but did not recover footage of the alleged attack. The incident has also drawn a response from William's mother, Tia Kemp, who criticized 50 Cent for mocking her son's experience. Their exchange has since spilled into personal attacks involving 50's family.

As for 50's promise to secure the suspect's release, WKMG reported Tuesday that Roberts no longer appeared on the Volusia County Jail's online roster. The outlet did not establish the circumstances of his removal.
