A$AP Rocky recently did an interview with Complex in which he had some interesting words about Playboi Carti. Rocky took credit for the artist's rise to fame, reminding folks that Carti remains signed to AWGE.
"My artist that I birthed is like the godfather of the new contemporary rage-vamp music," Rocky told Complex. "And he came from A$AP. He came from AWGE. He is still signed to AWGE […] then technically I'm somewhat responsible for whatever it is and whatever it turns into."
Controversial fashion designer Ian Connor didn't like this, and went off on Rocky. He said that Rocky has never been a good artist, and that he preyed on Carti when he was on the come up.
"Rocky Sucks At Rapping, He's Simply (Or Was) A Tastemaker, Horrible Clothes Maker, Beautiful Clothes Wearer, Nun More Than A Glorified Model With A Very Charismatic Personality With Immaculate Manipulation Tactics. I Don't Even Say I "Birthed" Carti and I'm The One Who Literally Begged Him To Sign Lil Bruh," Connor wrote.

Ian Connor Has Strong Words For A$AP Rocky
When asked why Connor has so much smoke for Rocky, he claimed that the artist still owes him money. Furthermore, Connor says Rocky has outstanding contract debts.
"Besides Shear Betrayal, Buddy Ass Owes Me Alot Of Money and Won’t Settle His Contract Debts because He Thinks I’m 'Financially Good' When I Could Literally Be Better," Connor added.
Connor then threw in one last jab pertaining to Rocky's ongoing beef with Drake.
"And If We Putting It Like That Then Drake Is Rocky’s Big Homie," Connor concluded.
Connor did not hold back when Rocky made those comments about Rocky. While other fans have also been hard on Rocky for making these claims, no one went so far with their criticism as Connor did.
Rocky has yet to respond.
