Eminem will now appear on "Heal My Faith" on Kid Rock's upcoming album. Lil Wayne has now replaced Em on "7 Sins."

Eminem might be 0/2 in features this year, assuming that he didn’t give Kid Rock a better verse than his artist EZ Mil. Last week, the Detroit rocker announced that Eminem would appear on his forthcoming project, Halfway 2 Jesus, describing their collaboration as a form of solidarity between two friends with differing political ideologies.

If you’re unaware, Kid Rock is an unwavering MAGA supporter, while Eminem has been a vocal supporter of Democratic nominees in the past. There was plenty of backlash online for the two coming together on wax, especially among Em’s fanbase. But Kid Rock didn’t seem to care for the outrage.

“If there are two people who understand the noise — who have created a lot of noise in their careers — it’s us,” Rock told Detroit Free Press. “We understand (that) empty wagons make the most noise, right? Who are these (complainers)? … You’re upset that two old friends did something together? I mean, you’re essentially confirming the problem to us. And he understands that. We both understand that.”

Eminem Changes Collaborations On Kid Rock Album

Eminem is set to appear on the song “Heal My Faith,” though the initial announcement revealed that he was supposed to feature on “7 Sins.” “7 Sins” will now feature Lil Wayne, who Kid Rock described as being “always been an ace of a friend.”

Kid Rock initially explained that his collaboration with Eminem symbolized their shared appreciation for one another over the years, despite their political differences.

“I'm proud of the guests who joined me, especially my old friend Eminem," Kid Rock reportedly expressed. "His verse speaks to something we’ve talked about and that really needs to be heard: we differ politically and on other things, but we’ve stayed friends through it all. We hope that sets an example for people who’ve lost friends or stopped talking to family because they think differently.”
