DJ Akademiks was on stream last night, and made some wild claims about Diddy's current stay at FCI Fort Dix.

Diddy has been in the news a lot over the past few days. On Monday, it was reported that the mogul suffered a head injury at FCI Fort Dix and was subsequently taken to the hospital. Just a few hours later, he returned to prison.

On Wednesday morning, a report from Page Six suggested that Diddy simply hit his head on a bunk bed. However, another report from TMZ said that the mogul had actually gotten into a fight with Jamaican drug lord Christopher "Dudus" Coke.

This news blew up on social media, as it is one of those stories built to create a strong reaction. Diddy's prison stay is already getting a lot of coverage, and these kinds of salacious news items only elongate that coverage.

DJ Akademiks offered up a response to the news, as he took to his Kick stream last night and gave his own context. Ak went on to allege that he has heard from people that Diddy is being extorted in prison.

DJ Akademiks On Diddy

As Akademiks alleges, some of the inmates with longer sentences are pressing Diddy for money. In return, he gets security and a more comfortable prison experience. However, that experience has been jeopardized by the NBC News report about contraband. After Diddy's reckless use of a cellphone, other inmates have had their own devices confiscated.

TMZ and Akademiks both suggest this is why Dudus and Diddy got into a fight over the weekend. Dudus was allegedly upset about his loss of privileges and pressed the music mogul about it, which led to a standoff of sorts.

DJ Akademiks' allegation that Diddy is being extorted is a serious one. Although at this time, Diddy's reps have not issued a response.
