New sources are telling TMZ that Diddy didn't merely bump his head on a bunk bed. Instead, he fought a drug lord at FCI Fort Dix.

Last night, outlets like Page Six reported that Diddy's head injury at FCI Fort Dix stemmed from him hitting it on a bunk bed. However, new reporting from TMZ suggests that the cause of the head injury is actually much more dramatic than that.

Sources close to the prison alleged that Diddy actually got into a fight with Dudus, a Jamaican drug lord who is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence. According to the sources, the fight started because of the recent NBC News report about the mogul's prison lifestyle.

It's been alleged that two raids have transpired since the report, and numerous pieces of contraband have been confiscated from the inmates. As for Dudus, it was alleged that he had a phone taken away along with other privileges.

Dudus was allegedly upset with Diddy about all of this, and that is what led to the alleged altercation.

TMZ also reports that Diddy's head injury from the fight was severe enough for the hospital visit. However, he was eventually placed in solitary confinement upon his return. TMZ also says that Diddy was already in solitary, but got into the fight during his daily break, during which he is able to mingle with other prisoners.

Dudus was also sent to solitary confinement, where both men will be spending the next two weeks. If these allegations are true, then it proves that Diddy's privileges in prison have proven to be controversial.

Furthermore, it goes to show that the NBC News report had widespread ramifications for other inmates.
