The Bureau of Prisons has given a statement to TMZ, claiming that Diddy never actually got into a fight with Christopher "Dudus" Coke.

On Wednesday, TMZ put out a report stating that Diddy's head injury was sustained during a fight with Christopher "Dudus" Coke. The man was described as a Jamaican drug lord who was upset with Diddy over a recent loss of privileges.

This all stemmed from NBC News' latest report detailing how Diddy had contraband in prison. TMZ alleged that Dudus lost his phone in a jail raid and was upset with the mogul, hence the fight.

Earlier today, Loren LoRosa revealed that Diddy's family told her the fight never happened. Now, the Bureau of Prisons is saying the same thing. In a statement to TMZ, they would not confirm that the fight took place. Instead, they said the opposite, noting that it never happened.

"We can tell you that the story you are referring to is false and did not happen," they explained.

TMZ Stands By Diddy Reporting

TMZ remains steadfast in their reporting, and they believe their sources were telling the truth.

"Our sources are solid on Diddy's injury, and his transport out of Fort Dix early last Saturday morning," TMZ wrote. "As we reported he was returned to the prison before sunrise, so whatever treatment he got was not for a life threatening injury."

TMZ has been known for getting things right and getting things first. However, like many publications, they have also made mistakes. TMZ's sources are under scrutiny right now, and given the statement from the Bureau of Prisons, it's a difficult position to be in.

As for Diddy, he remains behind bars until March of 2028. Although that date could change given the fact that his release date has already changed nine times before.
