Diddy has been the subject of much scandal and controversy over the past few years due to his criminal actions and allegations. This scandal has now bled over into his time at prison. Following recent allegations and reported developments, authorities have reportedly transferred Sean Combs to a new federal prison, per TMZ.
According to the outlet, the Bad Boy mogul is no longer at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, but instead in another Federal Corrections Institution location in Allenwood, Pennsylvania. It's reportedly a low-security prison, per the Federal Bureau of Prisons. They reportedly told TMZ he left this morning (Friday, October 16) after a medical emergency last Saturday that saw him head to a hospital in an ambulance for treatment.
The Bureau didn't give a reason for the transfer. This follows Combs' alleged violations behind bars, such as cellphone use and fights with other inmates. He reportedly lost 41 days of good time credit, credit which can lead to an early release, and 400 days of commissary privileges due to prison fights. Due to these alleged violations, Puff went to the Special Housing Unit for rule-breaking inmates twice.
Allentown reportedly has the same level of security as Fort Dix, but has 1,000 inmates instead of 4,000. We will have to wait and see if more official reasoning or explanations for the transfer emerge.
Diddy's Prison Transfer
As for what happened before this prison transfer, Diddy was accused of fighting a drug lord behind bars, which his family and the Bureau of Prisons denied. This caused a lot of debate and scandal in the hip-hop world and beyond, including conspiracy theories about extortion. Still, these rumors haven't seen any official confirmation at press time.
The injury Combs suffered was initially reported as a result of a bunk bed bump to the head. He reportedly returned to prison within 24 hours of leaving after receiving medical treatment at an outside facility.
Diddy also faced contraband allegations involving multiple items and alleged prison perks. Now, folks must wait to see what comes of this transfer and what the next steps are.
