Jaylen Brown's 7UICE is teaming up with BAPE on a limited BAPE STA, and the first drop happens in Philadelphia.

Jaylen Brown is teaming up with BAPE through his 7UICE brand, and the result is a limited BAPE STA. The sneaker launches in Philadelphia on October 17th.

The first release will happen at Lapstone & Hammer, a sneaker shop in the city. Brown will be there for a meet-and-greet with fans. Only the first 50 people in line will get a chance to meet him and buy a pair. Everyone else will have to wait for the online drop on October 18th.

Overall, the shoe keeps things simple. Black patent leather covers the whole upper, and the classic white BAPE star sits on the sides. Green piping runs between the panels. That green is a quiet nod to Brown's years with the Boston Celtics. A 7UICE stamp sits on the heel to show the collab.

Pricing has not been announced. Pairs will come in unisex sizing, and both brands say quantities will be limited. Also there will be no restock once they sell out.

The online release is expected through the 7UICE website. Some reports also mention BAPE and select retailers, so details could still change. Jaylen Brown also just joined the 76ers, so a Philadelphia launch makes sense.

Jaylen Brown's 7uice x BAPE

This project has a story that goes back to 2024. During NBA All-Star Weekend, Brown showed off a custom chrome BAPE STA. At the time, it was a one-of-one pair made just for him.

A matching varsity jacket with both logos also appeared. Neither piece was available to the public. Now the collaboration has become official.

Brown has said he has been a BAPE fan for a long time. That comes through in a simple design that lets the star logo do the work. The timing is interesting since Brown has also launched his own footwear effort, 741, after publicly criticizing Nike. 7UICE gives him a way to work with streetwear names like BAPE while building his own lane.

If you are in Philadelphia, the in-store launch is the best way to get a pair and meet Brown. Otherwise, set a reminder for October 18th.
