The APB x Air Jordan 11 Low finally has a firm release date. Official images are here, and the pair arrives on October 23rd for $200.
It is called "Made For Locals." The name is a tribute to the neighborhood spots people love, like the corner deli, the coffee shop, or the sneaker store down the street.
Overall, the design stays close to what we saw in earlier previews. Deep blue leather covers the upper, and a shiny patent leather mudguard sits on the bottom. A thin line of pink piping runs around the shoe. The mix of matte and glossy leather gives the blue a slightly different look from every angle. APB branding is stitched on the heels, and a translucent outsole sits underneath.
You can enter raffles right now. EQL raffles are open at APB, A Ma Maniere, JAIDE, and Social Status. All four are part of The Whitaker Group.
APB is also giving away one pair through Instagram. Fans need to follow the account, tag two friends, and repost the giveaway to their Stories. The winner will be announced on October 20th. Sizing is for adults, and the style code is IU8266-400. Also pairs will be sold online and in stores.
APB x Air Jordan 11 Low “Made For Locals”
This pair has been a long time coming. It was first expected in September before the date moved around. The release also marks APB's first official Jordan Brand collab. The Charlotte-based shop is part of The Whitaker Group, which also runs A Ma Maniere, JAIDE, and Social Status.
The campaign for the shoe puts local skaters front and center. Photos and video show the crew picking up pairs and skating in them. It fits APB's skate-focused roots.
The Air Jordan 11 Low is not an obvious skate shoe. However, the patent leather and clean shape make it a good canvas for a boutique collab. More pairs may be on the way. APB's fall campaign also teased a pink version and a darker version of the Air Jordan 11 Low. Nothing has been announced yet.
