“Solar Eclipse” is a hit.

The Drake stimulus package is alive and well, regardless of what people might say. With the release of ICEMAN, he proved that he remains the king of the charts post-battle, but FOMO indicated that the hunger for new music remains at an all-time high.

Most recently, he released a deluxe edition of Habibti, titled Habibti (FOMO), with four additional tracks that he debuted during his livestream in September. Those songs included “Quebec,” “Classic Pt. 2,” and two collaborations with Don Toliver, “Cold Shoulder” and “Solar Eclipse,” which also serves as a remix of Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas.”

“Solar Eclipse” has evidently proven to be the big hit out of the collection of new songs. “Solar Eclipse,” specifically, now sits at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, per Kurrco. This now marks a career high for Don Toliver as “Solar Eclipse” is now his highest-charting single on the chart. Moreover, it now extends Drake’s record for the most Hot 100 top-10 hits in history. With “Solar Eclipse,” his record now extends to 91 entries.

Habibti (FOMO) also saw some major success as it returned to #2 on the Billboard 200 this week with 71K album-equivalent units moved. The album previously held that position upon its debut on the chart, alongside ICEMAN at #1 and Maid Of Honour at #3.

Despite all of the success on the chart, don’t expect to see any of his projects nominated for a Grammy this year. Reports emerged this month indicating that the rapper hasn’t submitted ICEMAN or the other two projects to the award show, which certainly isn’t new for him. Evidently, he’s not concerned about bringing another trophy back to The Embassy.
