DJ Akademiks spoke to Trap Lore Ross about Air Drake, and had an interesting revelation about the costs associated with it.

DJ Akademiks continues to be one of Drake's biggest fans. His coverage of the artist even earned him an OVO chain, which he rocks proudly from time to time. However, it was a chain he decided to leave home during his excursion to ComplexCon in Los Angeles.

That said, Akademiks did find his way to Trap Lore Ross, where the two discussed a plethora of topics. Earlier today, we reported on Akademiks revealing that Drake makes upwards of $25 million per month. This means the artist could be bringing in $300 million per year. It is a salary that is hard to fathom, although Akademiks seems to be confident in those numbers.

Elsewhere in his conversation with Trap, Akademiks spoke about the cost of running Air Drake, which is the artist's luxurious private jet. As Ak explains, Drake is probably paying upwards of $100K every single time he goes in the air.

Air Drake Costs A Pretty Penny

For an occasional trip to Turks & Caicos, that isn't so bad...for Drake at least. However, with an upcoming tour in 2027, there is no doubt that Drake will be getting his money's worth out of that plane.

At this time, the tour has yet to be officially announced. While Drake has confirmed the tour is coming, there are currently no dates or locations that have been officially set. That said, it was recently revealed that Drake could end up being the headliner for Coachella, which would be a ton of fun.

If you are a fan of the artist, 2026 has been incredible so far, and 2027 promises to be even better. Let us know if you are excited for the upcoming tour, in the comments below.
