Drake is taking “Choosin’ Texas” somewhere new! The Toronto rapper connects with Don Toliver on “Solar Eclipse,” a reimagining of Ella Langley’s country hit that leans into a slower, more atmospheric R&B sound. Across the track, both artists bring melodic vocals to the arrangement, giving the familiar song a different feel. The collaboration first appeared in Drake’s FOMO livestream and now arrives on HABIBTI (FOMO), in addition to three other songs. Moreover, it introduces another side of their pairing, with Toliver also appearing on “Cold Shoulder.” If you’ve been waiting to hear these two on a record together, there’s plenty to get into with this release.

Quotable Lyrics
She's from Texas I can tell by the way
She grip on my woodgrain
She's down to take a hundred shots with me
And talk about my pain
