DJ Akademiks has found himself engrossed in the investigation surrounding the murder of BloodHound Q50. Over the weekend, the Chicago artist was shot and killed after being ambushed outside of a gas station convenience store. In surveillance footage, multiple men could be seen approaching the vehicle, firing dozens of shots into the driver's side door.
The Chicago Police Department is currently investigating the murder. However, internet sleuths are trying to piece together their own investigation on platforms like X and Reddit. Of course, you should take these investigations with a grain of salt. Redditors tend to be overzealous with this kind of thing, and they don't have access to the same resources as the police.
That did not stop DJ Akademiks from engaging with some of the materials that have been posted online so far. As you can clearly see, he was left incredulous at some of the alleged findings.

Meanwhile, the woman who was allegedly in the car with BloodHound Q50 at the time of the shooting, is claiming that the Tesla's seatbelt safety feature contributed to his death.
"I am the girl that was in the passenger seat yall don't know what the fck happened i didnt set sht up when he got in the car I told him to hurry up and pull off because when he was in the store dudes were walking around the car looking suspicious," she wrote. "The car would not put off because of thr seat belt while he was trying to get the car in drive, I was looking out the back window and seen them running up after soon as I seen them and heard shots, I got out fast as I could and ran screaming for help. That was my homie my lover and my unborn baby father put some f*ckn respect on me and his life."
