The Air Jordan 4014 "Ferrari" blends the new Air Jordan 40 with the Air Jordan 14's classic Ferrari colorway.

The Air Jordan 4014 "Ferrari" is expected to release very soon on September 26th for $205. It's set to launch through Nike SNKRS and select retailers. The style code is also IR2082-600.

This marks a new hybrid direction for the Air Jordan 40 performance line. Jordan Brand is blending its current game shoe with design elements pulled from the Air Jordan 14. That combination gives the model its "4014" name.

Red suede covers the entire upper here, mimicking the Air Jordan 14's iconic "Ferrari" colorway. A bright yellow shield badge sits near the ankle, styled after the original's car emblem. A horizontal bar structures the tongue, keeping that same automotive feel alive.

Carbon fiber detailing wraps around the toe lip, adding a sportier, chassis-like look up front. The heel is where things really lean into the theme. A debossed "23" sits alongside a metallic silver heel bumper, both nodding directly back to the Air Jordan 14's design language.

This continues Jordan Brand's push to reimagine classic retro colorways through modern performance tooling, bridging older signature designs with shoes actually built for today's game.

The "Ferrari" look wasn't even part of the Air Jordan 14's original lineup. It first debuted in 2014, well after Jordan's playing days ended. Even so, it's become one of the most recognizable versions of the model thanks to its bold, seamless suede execution.

Bringing that exact aesthetic onto a current performance shoe is a different approach than a standard retro. Instead of just re-releasing an old shape, Jordan Brand is translating the colorway's identity onto something built for actual on-court use today. That blending of eras has become a bigger focus for the brand recently.

The Air Jordan 40 has already seen other retro-inspired hybrids before this one. Each version pulls from a different piece of Jordan's signature shoe history. The "Ferrari" execution stands out as one of the more visually loud takes in that lineup so far.

For fans of the original AJ14 colorway, this hybrid offers a fresh way to experience that same design without needing an actual retro release.
