Diddy continues to serve his federal prison sentence for transporting prostitutes across state lines, which is part of the wider misconduct scandal around him. Throughout it all, though, his family has been very supportive of him. Sean Combs' son, Christian "King" Combs, recently proclaimed "Free Pops" during a DDG stream.
As caught by The Jasmine Brand on Instagram, the two men were at an outdoor party recently and spotted each other from across the venue. They dapped each other up, which is when Combs said, "Free Pops, you heard?" Ironically, the Biggie Smalls hit "Big Poppa" was playing in the background.
The rapper and streamer turned away from Combs with a smile, seemingly not wanting to react or engage with the comment too much. Instead, he just vibed out to the song. But King Combs returned to approach DDG and ask him where the chat was. The Michigan multi-hyphenate was minding his business, but he pointed Combs to the camera. "Free Pops," Christian said again. Under less jovial and lively circumstances, maybe this could've turned into more of an odd moment. But they handled it pretty well and didn't harp on anything.

Sadly, Diddy and Christian "King" Combs' paths have legally crossed over. Testimony from the former's trial might play a role in a sexual assault lawsuit against his son, but we will see where that goes.
While many folks are critical of the Combs family's support of the Bad Boy mogul, others are more sympathetic to family dynamics and unconditional love. Each person involved handles their assessment of the situation differently, while maintaining a family focus.
Elsewhere, Diddy's currently scheduled release date indicates he will complete his federal sentence on February 20, 2028. Amid various appeal processes and other civil reckonings, we will see if anything changes that approximate release window.
