Pierre "P" Thomas is getting a lot of support from the hip-hop world right now following his heart attack and hospitalization. However, few statements are more encouraging for folks in situations like these than the support of their family. The Quality Control CEO's daughter Journey Thomas took to Instagram earlier this week to provide an update for fans and thank God for her father's recovery.
"God is good. My dad is truly a miracle, and I’m so blessed to still be able to say he’s here. God’s grace has carried us through every moment," she captioned the post. It featured a picture of the executive with his family.
Other updates on Pierre Thomas' condition, though, have been a bit more serious and potentially conspiratorial. His mother took to social media to claim someone is to blame for the heart attack, and to fight back against false death rumors that were spreading around his name.
"Let me straighten y'all all out," she expressed. "First of all, my son is not dead. No matter what my son has done to me, no matter what he's done to you, he's still my child. Somebody did this to him, and I know it because there's neurologically no reason [for the heart attack]. Pierre is alive. Is he well? No. But don't count nobody out... We reap what we sow in this life... I can't just walk away from my child like that and he's incapacitated. But cut the lie... My son is not dead. I don't know who gave TMZ that story, but cut the lie. He's healing. He's recovering. And I'm here. He rising up like Lazarus."
Pierre "P" Thomas' Condition
At the top of the week, TMZ spoke to an allegedly close source who reportedly confirmed Pierre "P" Thomas' health is improving. He's reportedly still in the hospital, but his recovery is going steadily and progressively well.
This follows the Quality Control CEO's past public spats with artists associated with the collective, namely with Young Thug. Beyond that, though, he's been low-key and focused on his craft and career. We wish P all the best as he continues to recover.
