GTA 6 is set to drop on November 19, and with leaks running rampant on social media, Rockstar Games has decided to intervene. Earlier this morning, they put out a statement about how the leaks are "heartbreaking." However, they expressed their excitement for tomorrow's Netflix "extended look" showcase.
Additionally, Rockstar Games made its way to the cover of DAZED magazine. GTA 6 protagonists Lucia and Jason can be seen on the magazine's front cover, posing as if it is a real photoshoot.
This was paired with an interview in which Rockstar Games offered some major details about the game. For instance, the weight and muscle mechanics from San Andreas are making a return. Moreover, NPCs throughout Vice City are expected to be more responsive to your actions.
If you're unaware, Vice City is a fictionalized version of Miami. As we reported, there is expected to be a radio station called Dirty South Classics, which will pay homage to the Southern rap of the 90s and early 2000s. Meanwhile, a contemporary rap station is expected as well. Rockstar offered some insight into its soundtrack, revealing that songs from Kodak Black and Sexyy Red will be in the game.
GTA 6 Is Dropping In Three Months
“We love Miami music, particularly Miami bass, going through to more recent Miami artists like Kodak Black and Sexyy Red," Rockstar explained. It should be noted that Sexyy Red is not a Miami artist. She is from St. Louis, Missouri.
In the leaks, the Sexyy Red song we heard was "Pound Town." As for Kodak Black, it is currently unknown which song will be used. Elsewhere in the leaks, we heard "Wanderlust" by The Weeknd, which just goes to show Rockstar Games knows what they're doing.
